Ever thot of how this name MAKI came from? I had this nickname since i was 15. Me and my group of gfs were head over heels over this Japanese girl group, morning musume. Then, ya luh each of us like different members of the group and i like this main singer maki gotou. Since then, i`ve been using this nick maki for irc, icq, msn, friendster and all e way till now fb. Omg this nick has been with me for almost 10 yrs, wtf. When there`re too many cheryls around, people tend to ask 'which cheryl? Maki cheryl?' I felt like this maki has been almost part of my name. HAHA can`t believe i just typed this work irc! Wonder if ppl still playing with that, so old school!

Went to 10 dollar ktv club at smith street last week, recommended by Calyn. I was quite amazed actually cos it was mad cheap. Each person only needs to pay 11.70nett and get to sing from 7pm to 12am, free flow of drinks till 11, and gets a bowl of sharksfin soup (which taste like flour) for free! Not to mention the room was quite small and the service sucks a lil, but who cares! It`s cheap luh!

Still can bring food in without having to smuggle them in (:

Finally preparations of the rom is almost done except for the decorations part! I think bb and I are damn fast can! Cos we went to just 2 bridal shops ONLY and decided on the 1st choice, Whitelink (: Only managed to browse thru wedding forums and magazines, found Whitelink`s gowns and photography very appealing, not to mention service plays a BIG part and I`m quite impressed with their service (: Talking about service, on Sat evening, we went down Takashimaya to look for wedding bands. Went in Bvlgari and no one greets us and even after we approached the salesperson, I seriously can feel that he don`t even bother to serve us. Then we went in Cartier, the salesgirl was very enthusiastic in serving us and we ALMOST bought the rings, just that there was something we were hesitating about. THE RING COLOUR. The white gold love series doesn`t have baby`s size and we need to wait 3-6 months to get it which is nearly impossible cos rom is only like less than 2 months away  So, we walked all e way to DFS Bvlgari to get our rings instead of getting it from the rude salesman at Taka! Damn fast can, we bought our rings within 1 hour! And we are totally in love with our rings (((:

I think we are pretty impulsive in making all kinds of decisions, but that`s us (:

Met up with Chalene for haircut at SHUNJI MATSUO ICON at wisma on Sunday. The stylist who trimmed my hair was a China man and he kept on harping even thou I don`t really feel like entertaining him. Chalene`s one was quite good thou cos he was like silent throughout the whole session (:

While we were on our way for shopping, 3 Taiwanese ladies approached and made aquantaince with us thou we were like WTH cos被搭訕ed by girls was like quite rare but yeaa, Taiwanese are REALLY friendly (:

Caught up with px and Daryl and watched Daybreakers. What I can say is, that show is freaking gross with some of the gruesome scenes! Seriously I think I`m rather timid and not suitable to watch horror/action movies luhhh! :/

Finally get to watch 海派甜心 episode 12 this noon! I`m totally in love with this show! Seldom watch TW idol drama but this definately touched my heart and Xiaozhu is just too cute to be true (: Hais, gotta wait for next Monday for the next episode, sucks man, I hate waiting.

Mmm, this week will be a SHOPPING WEEK! (((:

Let me just rant a little.

There are few types of people who really gets on my nerves and really detestable. I really cannot stand some CHILDISH people who still acts like a primary school girl, when u made her unhappy unknowingly, she will post up in her fb and says she cannot get along with u cos u`re someone who only cares about for urself. Maybe it`s not that I only care about myself but I just cannot be bothered to care about u  (: So, please wisen up.

And I`m rather pissed with guys who can`t pay for themselves. Seriously, I despise them more than guys who are egoistic. Pls, if u can`t even afford a bowl of noodle, then DON`T EAT! Y do u even need others to pay for u? Don`t u feel ashamed of urself? I doubt u do. I`m not going to relate the story about this guy cos I don`t wanna make things ugly. The thought of him totally turned me off.

These people should do some self reflection! HMMPPFFF!

2OO9 might be a sucky year for most of u (That`s wat I always hear ppl saying), hopefully this year will bring all of us happiness, joy, wealth and many precious moments. 2OO9 has indeed brought me many happy moments and also a year of complications. I`m glad the storm is now over and I`m going to look forward to wat 2O1O awaits me (:

Our X`MAS pressies!

That particular nite, baby and I exchanged our pressies and he was like super touched when he received the gucci belt from me (: Seeing the happy smile on his face everything was worthwhile.

Everywhere was crowded on NYE, yet we decided to celebrate our countdown at SUPPERCLUB. Booked our tables long ago but however, things got screwed up, everything was so wrong that night. But of cos we managed to enjoy our last few hours of that night. Supperclub was a disappointment tat day but the company of mny great friends made tat nite a happy one (:

So what`s ur new year resolutions for this brand new year? I`ve already thought of mine (:

1. To scrimp and save more ( I`ve been saying this for years.. but... yaa.. let`s seeeee)

2. Wake up early, prepare early and don`t let people wait. ( I can see people smiling.. )

3. Be more dilligent to remove make up everyday.

4. Put on skincare and bodycare EVERYDAY. ( Bought many but do not use any )

5. Cut down snack-ing.

6. START EXERCISING!

7. Pay more attention to Yuki.

8. Spend more time with my family.

9. Quit buying unneccesary stuffs ( Which also refers to point 1 )

10. Be a virtuous wife (:

Yeaa, according to point 10, as u all know, I will be having my ROM on 1 March. Lots and lots of preparations to be done! It is indeed not as easy as I thought it is. From booking the venue to decorations and to searching for a decent and pretty dress. And now we are also looking for a place for photography! It`s like OMFG. Tentatively, I would like to have our photos taken at Bali~ One of my favourite places and of cos, a place where baby and I had our beautiful memories in 2OO8. Phew, the preparations are giving me a major headache and the thought of everything made me hyperventilating dizzy. But i guess we just have to がんばって!

Went to 3 countries last year. Tokyo, Taiwan and Bangkok. Wheeee, the thought of the days there made me so happy. My photos of Tokyo is in another laptop so couldn`t copy them yet. Only this..

And lastly, BKK trip during X`mas with baby, his family and his company. Got cheap deals there and had great fun with his family.

Back from BKK and I can confirm the weather in bkk can drive me nuts. HAHA but weather aside, everything is fun there as most of the things are cheap and the food is great! I think i ate pad thai everyday (: Yeaa my fav thai food. Of cos one thing I hate is their air pollution and I think I breathed in lots of dust, can u imagine when u use a piece of tissue to wipe ur face, u can see traces of brown/black stains! And after I took shower, I saw some foam on the wall which was not white but brown! SCARYYY!

But stilllllll~ Shopping there can be so fun as u can find clothes as cheap as sgd 4bucks! (: So glad to have Sa around cos communication there can be really that difficult. And yea my baby is like a half thai over there, always helping me to bargain for lower price. His thai language finally came to good use (:
